Paphos Archaeological Park
This site is still under excavation and also known as Kato Pafos Archaeological Park. Here some of the most exceptional features have been found, which date back to the prehistoric and medieval ages as well as some ruins of the Roman Period. They include 4th century Tombs of the Kings, Saranta Kolones (Forty Columns) Fortress, and also the remains of Nea Paphos (Aphrodite’s Sacred City) famous for its mosaic art.
Coral Bay, Paphos

Kolossi Castle, Limassol
This magnificent military architecture was rebuilt in the 15th century and the headquarters of the Knights of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem. It was also the center for sugar production.
Kykkos Monastery
Facing the Troödos Mountains at an altitude of 1318 meters, this is the wealthiest and lavish monastery in the country. Constructed in the 11th century, there is a museum inside this monastery, which exhibits a wide array of artifacts that include woodcarvings, embroideries, holy objects and icons.
Petra tou Romiou (Aphrodite’s Rock), Paphos
The Rock of the Greek is considered to be the birthplace of Aphrodite, Greek goddess of beauty. The golden beach where blue waters kiss the feet of two rocks, is the most beautiful and famous coastline in Cyprus.
Cyprus Museum
This oldest and largest archaeological museum was founded in 1882. It displays the extensive collection of Cypriot antiquities in the world, which include ancient sculptures, pottery, handicrafts, Byzantine icons, medieval maps and religious items.
Cape Greco National Forest Park
This headland lies at the the southern end of Famagusta Bay. The park covers a wide area of 384,9 hectares, which is rich in flora and fauna. There are sea caves, dense forests, walking trails and cycling tracks.
Büyük Han (the Great Inn), Nicosia
This 16th century largest caravanserai is one of the finest example of Ottoman architecture. There are 68 rooms on two floors while the inner wide courtyard has a mosque built with stones and a fountain for ablutions.
Minthis Hills, Paphos
This wonderland is a famous resort for golf lovers. It is almost 560 m above the sea level and has Mediterranean climate. Amid lush gardens, there is a 12th century stone monastery Stavros tis Minthis, which is a best known example of Byzantine era.
